Hello, I am Dawn, a self-taught naturalist and trained educator. For the past 15 years I have worked to promote children’s connection with nature and life long love of outdoor pursuits for both physical and mental health. My writing and photography have been featured in various print and online magazines and books, and in exhibits with the National Park Service. I currently homeschool my daughter while my son attends public school. They are both curious nature lovers who have their own individual nature interests and it is great fun to watch them grow and explore in their own ways.
I also lead nature walks to help families connect with nature through child-led nature study in the wild forests and along the rugged coastline of Nova Scotia, Canada. I blog with my dear friend Annie at Mud Puddles to Meteors and we have co-authored Whatever the Weather: Science Experiments and Art Activities That Explore the Wonders of Weather (Roost Books).
Hi Dawn
I would like to talk to you regarding the Earth Action Pack magazine you contributed to for Kathreen Ricketson of Whipup. Whipup is closing after almost 10 years, Action Pack too, so we’re following up with our contributors
All the best
Kasia
